Terms of Service

Dozi provides educational and planning tools for building or buying a home in India. Dozi is not an architect, structural engineer, lawyer, chartered accountant, financial adviser, lender, loan broker, real-estate agent, RERA-registered entity, or Vastu consultant, and does not provide those professional services.

Dozi guides you; it does not act for you. Dozi does not hire, supervise, or pay contractors, apply for approvals or permits, arrange or process loans, or carry out any construction work on your behalf.

Information about contractors, materials, loans, or properties is general information, not an endorsement, recommendation, or offer. Any deal you make with a third party is between you and that party.

This section applies only if the checkout page clearly states that your plan renews automatically and you agree to it.

• Paid before use: each renewal is charged at the start of the new period using the payment method and mandate you authorised through Razorpay. The new period starts once the payment succeeds.
• Reminder: we notify you at least 2 days before each renewal, with the amount, the date, and a way to cancel.
• Cancelling: you can cancel at any time before the renewal date in Settings or by emailing support@dozi.ai. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Price changes: we will tell you about any price change before the renewal it applies to, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
• Failed renewal: if a renewal payment fails, your plan ends at the end of the paid period. We do not keep retrying a failed mandate indefinitely.
• Mandate: you can also cancel the mandate through your bank or UPI app. Renewals stop, and your current paid period continues.

On the free plan, AI chat messages count toward the plan’s limit when an answer is delivered. If you stop an answer after a substantial part has been shown, it still counts.

Unlimited chat on paid plans is for your own home project. To prevent misuse, we monitor usage. Unusually heavy or automated use may be slowed or paused, and we will contact you if that happens. We may also apply reasonable rate limits to protect the Services.

Using automation, multiple accounts, or other methods to get around limits is not allowed.

You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant Dozi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, and display Your Content only to provide and secure the Services as described in our Privacy Policy, including sending it to our service providers, and review by authorised staff when it is flagged or when you ask for help. The licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.

You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content, including floor plans, drawings, photos, and documents, and that it does not include other people’s personal data without their permission. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

You must not upload, share, or generate content that:

• Belongs to someone else and you have no right to use.
• Is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another person’s privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, or encourages money laundering or gambling.
• Is harmful to children.
• Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right.
• Deceives or misleads, or knowingly spreads false information.
• Impersonates another person.
• Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or incites any offence.
• Contains malware or harmful code.
• Otherwise violates any law.

You also must not:

• Try to extract the system instructions or bypass the AI’s safeguards.
• Scrape the Services or access them by automated means.
• Reverse-engineer the Services.
• Resell or redistribute the Services.
• Interfere with the Services’ security or performance.
• Use the Services to defraud or harm anyone.

Images and documents you upload are checked automatically. Flagged uploads are blocked and may be reviewed by authorised staff.

If you upload malicious files, sexual or pornographic content, or content involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of children, we may terminate your account immediately and without warning. Any paid plan ends without a refund. For other breaches, we may warn you or restrict features first.

If we find content that may involve child sexual abuse, we will preserve the content and related account information and report it to law enforcement, as required by Indian law.

If you believe we made a mistake, you can write to the Grievance Officer (Section 20).

The Services work with third parties such as Razorpay, Google, and websites cited in answers. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and their own terms apply.

We try to keep the Services available but do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and add, change, or remove features. If we discontinue a paid feature during your paid period, we will offer a fair alternative or a pro-rata refund for that feature.

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@dozi.ai. Your plan ends when the account is closed, and your data is erased as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect users or the Services. Except in the cases in Section 13 or where the law prevents it, we will tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond. If we terminate for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of your paid period.

Sections 10, 11, 14, and 17 to 24 survive termination.

To the extent permitted by law, Dozi is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits, data, or goodwill.
• Losses from decisions made on the basis of Output or calculator results, including construction, purchase, loan, or legal decisions.
• The acts or omissions of contractors, lenders, sellers, or other third parties.

Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Dozi in the 12 months before the claim arose or INR 1,000. These limits do not apply to liability for fraud or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

If you have a complaint, including about content, an account action, or a payment, write to our Grievance Officer, Mrs Sunita Tiwari (Director), at support@dozi.ai. We will acknowledge it within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

You agree to give us 30 days to resolve a dispute this way before starting legal proceedings. After that, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not affect your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
